About Porta Invest: Real Estate Investor and Unique Property Investment Opportunities in Prague
Porta Invest was established in 2008 as a sister company to Porta Reality and Porta Finance. Initially, it served as a platform connecting real estate investors with property opportunities, especially for those seeking online property investment options. Thanks to its deep expertise in both real estate and finance, Porta Invest quickly became a trusted partner for domestic and international investors, particularly in real estate investments and residential building sales.
Since its foundation, the company has facilitated nearly 500 property transactions, amounting to several billion CZK in value – covering apartment buildings, residential properties, commercial real estate, and investment apartments for sale.
Over time, it became a natural step for the company to shift from brokerage to developing its own real estate portfolio. This resulted in the acquisition and development of its first in-house project – the residential building Na Maninách, purchased through a business share in 2016. After a complete renovation, the individual units were successfully sold as rental investment properties.
Another milestone followed shortly after – the acquisition of a historic apartment building on Lucemburská Street, near Jiřího z Poděbrad Square in Prague. The building and its unique location called for a sensitive yet bold architectural renovation. In collaboration with Ing. Arch. Jan Šrámek of the Olgoj Chorchoj studio, we transformed Lucemburská 16 into an exceptional residential project, which now serves nearly 50 new homeowners.
Today, the Porta Invest team, led by Michal Ovečka and Marek Bartes, is preparing five new real estate development projects, with a combined market value exceeding CZK 1.6 billion. The first of these will soon be introduced – Residence Pod Karlovem, a classic Prague apartment house for sale, offering stunning views over Folimanka Park and the charm of the Vinohrady district.
